I saw Beowulf today. At the IMAX. In 3D. Some observations:
Stuff happened. There was nothing you could call an 'arc' or 'point', things just went along.
You'd think it would be a compliment that it didn't feel nearly as long as it was, but it turns out that's not always the case.
The polarization glasses are an improvement over the red/green ones, but they're not perfect. There's a double shadow, and you can't tilt your head at all.
Nor is the 3D convincing. It looks a lot like paper mario: 2D figures existing in a 3D landscape. Which is actually worse than a normal move.
