pktechgirlbackupThe rainy season is starting out here, and the kitten is not happy, because the outdoors is no fun when the wet stuff is falling from it. Today he was in kitten ADD mode when we woke up, and only got a few minutes of outdoors time before getting stuck in a major storm. He was so badly traumatized that he wouldn't stay outside after I forcibly put him there. I attempted this because he is a very high energy kitten, and he has at least 10 hours of being in the house to burn off through dirt eating Trapped in doors, he attacked anything he could get his adorable little mouth on- pillows, hands, cell phones, bottles of pills. Eventually I had to distract him with toys to prevent him from destroying something important.
After three hours he wore himself out. He's been asleep for three hours and counting. And I feel so very much like a mother with a toddler, except that toddlers you can't send to play outside even if the weather is perfect.
