Cabin in the Woods

pktechgirlbackupLike everyone else, I'm going to say "You should totally see Cabin in the Woods, but the reasons why are behind a cut, because spoilers".
It's funny that I recently mentioned my feelings on horror movies, and how the lack of intelligent protagonists leaves me cold. Well, Cabin in the Woods does a kick ass job of explaining why it is every protagonist holds their own personal idiot ball. I approve of this. It also has some great one liners. I felt the acting was only so-so, but that may have been intentional.

Also, I couldn't watch the house try to kill them without thinking of this prizewinning Captain Awkard comment, in which the commenter compares staying in an abusive relationship to staying in the house after it tells you to leave and bees are coming out of the wall.
