Like everyone else, I'm going to say "You should totally see Cabin in the Woods, but the reasons why are behind a cut, because spoilers".

Also, I couldn't watch the house try to kill them without thinking of this prizewinning Captain Awkard comment, in which the commenter compares staying in an abusive relationship to staying in the house after it tells you to leave and bees are coming out of the wall.
