Group selection? Seriously?

- He believes in group selection. So let's just assume he's terrible at math too.
- Which isn't to say you can't make some very interesting arguments about how human social interaction affected selection at the genetic level. But he's not doing that. At least in the podcast, he seems to think he's discovered this revolutionary new thing, when in fact he's rehashing a very old discussion that's more or less been resolved with math.
- Which makes sense, given that his most relevant degree is in psychology, and his coauthor is a psychiatrist.
- Were I him, I would have found a different picture for my website. One that didn't say "A scientific justification for rape is very important to me personally"
