affectionate and loyal to his family
Apr. 20th, 2010 07:16 pmI lock the cats out of my room at night. Even though Nemo is old enough that we don't have quite so many running-full-tilt-across-my-head incidents as we once did, he still hasn't grasped the concept of "not stepping on the human's nipple", and neither of them are good at "respecting the human's ergonomic alignment so she's not in crippling pain tomorrow". But last night, after I tossed Pan out of the room and closed the door, he wouldn't stop crying. He sat right in front of the door (braving the draft from the air purifier) and mewed. I was kind of in the mood for a hug, so I figured this was fate's way of letting me know I should cuddle with Pan that night. I let him in (closing the door so that the more rambunctious kitty wouldn't disturb us), and we slept peacefully for the whole night.
The next morning, I discovered that I'd never let Nemo out from bedroom #2. Pan had been crying because he'd been separated from Nemo, which sounds really sweet until you realize he totally sold Nemo out to cuddle with the human.
